Receiving Procedures

Once you receive the freight tracking number, you will be able to track the progress of the package on the carrier’s website. Typically, Pilot is used by Seibon for the majority of their shipments. Their tracking can be located here:

The day before scheduled delivery, the freight company will reach out to the end user or shop to confirm delivery time. When signing for the package, this assumes that you have inspected the product thoroughly. If there are any damages to the outside of the box, it must be noted on the waybill that you sign. Do not refuse the shipment, it is crucial that you sign for the package regardless of condition. It is recommended to open up the package with the freight company present in order to get a full inspection of the contents and any damages that may have occurred.

Damages may include:

Puncture holes on the box

Folds, cracks, or razor blade marks on box

Shoe marks or tire marks on box

Stress cracks on corners of item

Please note:

If you inspect the box and do not open it with the freight company present, you have 24 hours from the point of delivery to contact the freight carrier as well as Turn 14 Distribution to report shipping damages so they can be relayed to Seibon Carbon.  If you do not inspect the box and sign for the item and later discover damage on the item more than 24 hours after initial point of delivery, a claim will not be approved by Seibon or the shipping company.
